This policy must be reviewed and updated to accurately reflect all cookies and tracking technologies in use at launch, including any analytics tools added before going live. The DiscoverCars and Travelpayouts sections below should be verified against each provider's own cookie and privacy policy.
What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website operators.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Site to function and cannot be switched off. They are typically set in response to actions you take, such as submitting a form. You can set your browser to block these cookies, but some parts of the Site may not work as a result.
Cookie inventory pending verification. The application stores consent preferences in localStorage (key: c2_analytics_consent) and banner state in sessionStorage (key: airo-banner-reset). These are browser storage mechanisms, not HTTP cookies. No first-party HTTP cookies set by this Site have been confirmed by code review or live browser inspection. This table will be completed with verified cookie names, purposes, and lifetimes before publication.
Analytics Cookies
We do not currently use analytics cookies. If analytics tools are added in the future, this policy will be updated and appropriate consent mechanisms will be implemented.
Advertising and Tracking Cookies
We do not currently use first-party advertising or tracking cookies on this Site. However, third-party affiliate tracking scripts described below may set their own cookies.
Third-Party Cookies — DiscoverCars Booking Links
Car rental search on the Car Rentals page is powered by a server-side proxy to the DiscoverCars API (www.discovercars.com). No DiscoverCars scripts are loaded in your browser on this page. When you follow an outbound booking link to the DiscoverCars website, DiscoverCars may set their own cookies on their website. We do not control those cookies.
For information about the cookies DiscoverCars sets, please refer to the DiscoverCars privacy policy and cookie policy on their website.
Third-Party Cookies — Travelpayouts
This Site loads a tracking script provided by Travelpayouts (travelpayouts.com), an affiliate network for travel products including flights and hotels. The Travelpayouts Drive script is served from emrld.ltd and is injected on every page of this Site — but only after you accept the cookie banner. If you decline or have not yet responded, the script is not injected for that session. We do not control what cookies or storage this script may set on your device once loaded.
For information about the cookies Travelpayouts sets, please refer to the Travelpayouts privacy policy and cookie policy on their website.
Third-Party Links
When you click ordinary outbound links to third-party websites (such as airlines, hotels, or government agencies), those websites may set their own cookies. The Travelpayouts Drive script is not an ordinary outbound link — it loads third-party content directly when consent is given. The DiscoverCars car rental search uses a server-side proxy and does not load third-party scripts in your browser; DiscoverCars cookies apply only if you navigate to their website. We have no control over third-party cookies. Please refer to the relevant third party's cookie policy for information.
Managing Cookies
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically choose to block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies when you close your browser. Please note that blocking essential cookies may affect the functionality of this Site.
For guidance on managing cookies in your browser, visit the help section of your browser or a resource such as allaboutcookies.org.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
