Airport Overview
Harry Reid International Airport (formerly McCarran International Airport) is the primary airport serving the Las Vegas metropolitan area. Located approximately 5 miles south of the Las Vegas Strip, LAS is one of the busiest airports in the United States and a major gateway for leisure travel.
Terminals
LAS has two terminals: Terminal 1 (Concourses B, C, and D) and Terminal 3 (Concourse E, primarily for international and some domestic flights). The terminals are not connected airside.
Ground Transportation
The Las Vegas Strip and downtown Las Vegas are accessible by taxi, rideshare (Uber, Lyft), and the RTC bus system. The Las Vegas Monorail does not currently serve the airport. The drive to the Strip takes approximately 10–15 minutes. No direct rail connection to the Strip exists as of 2026.
Rental Cars
Rental car companies operate from the Rent-A-Car Center, accessible via shuttle from both terminals.
Parking
LAS offers parking in the Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 garages and economy lots.
